Usnea sometimes known as Old Mans Beard is best identified by its elasticy membrane that runs through. It is a great Ally in treating all varieties of infection including Staph, Strep, Upper Respiratory Tract infections, Pneumonia, and Urinary Tract Infections. It is anti-microbial, anti-viral, anti-fungal and anti-bacterial. It’s important to note that it’s anti-bacterial properties work mainly on gram positive bacteria, making it super effective at attacking unwanted pathogens all while mostly leaving healthy gut bacteria alone.
